ACLU once again suppressing Religion.
ACLU once again is using its own interpretation of the first amendment to pressure judges into suppressing religion.
A federal judge has granted an injunction against the Santa Rosa School District in a lawsuit filed by the American Civil Liberties Union regarding prayer at graduation and other school events. – Pensecola News Journal
While the ACLU likes to push its own agenda when it comes to free speech, when the subject turns to a religious nature or a subject that is decidedly against the ACLU, then the ACLU is quite discriminatory.
The argument that the ACLU likes to make to suppress religion is the case of Board of Education of Kiryas Joel Village School District v. Grumet.
Funny thing is that the ACLU is prodding the government to prohibit the free exercise of religion.
While this complaint was filed for two unnamed high school students, it is actually suppressing the rights of other students with the injunction.
You can thank the people of the ACLU for the declining morals of society and continued drops in the rolls of churches everywhere. The south is one of the last places that the ACLU hasn’t gotten completely under its thumb but it won’t be much longer before it will be difficult to discuss religion in public without someone being offended.
