Are you ready to Vote? Check your Registration Status.

It doesn’t really matter if you are affiliated with a party or not. The important thing is to make your voice heard by voting. You can’t do that unless you are registered to vote. You can check your voting status here in Florida by visiting the Florida Division of Elections.

Even though you may have registered to vote at one time, your registration can expire if you haven’t voted in some time. You must be an active voter for your registration to remain active.

If for some reason your registration has expired or you are not registered, you can click on one of the links that will take you to your county Supervisor of Elections website and you can find out how to register to vote there.

You don’t have much time. It will soon close for this voting season. Here are some dates you can use if you need to register.

You can apply to register to vote at any time. However, to vote in an election, you must be registered in the state by the book closing date, which is normally the 29th day before each election. The book closing dates for the 2010 election cycle are:
July 26, 2010………………Primary Election
October 4, 2010………….General Election

So it is time for you to check you voting status. Make certain you can vote. It is always important.
