Attacked?
This fight of illegal immigration has come to another point.
Armed men overran a National Guard observation post along the U.S.-Mexico border in Arizona this week, forcing the soldiers to retreat – Washington Times
This should come as no surprise since the guard typically does not carry ammunition in their weapons and they were not authorized to engage anyone. All they are there for is to watch the border and inform the Border Patrol. The same thing that the Minute Men are doing.
Maybe this will server as a wake up call to those in Washington to get them to move on immigration reform and border protection. At the least, a complaint should be filed with the Mexican government with the threat of bringing it up at a UN session if they don’t do more to help stop this problem.
Personally, I find this nothing short of an attack on sovereign soil. Something that needs to be addressed in Congress and acted upon by the President. Will they? I highly doubt it.
