Bay County can now Deport Illegals.
Bay county has been leading the way in North West Florida for arresting illegal immigrants. Mostly for identity theft and fraud. Okaloosa has just gotten started on this after months of complaints by the citizens of Okaloosa to Charlie Morris.
Charlie Morris claimed many times that he could not do anything about illegal immigrants because his officers were not trained. That was never a problem for Bay county. Of course the ones arrested sometimes made bail and disappeared before ICE showed up to deport them they were still taking an active role in reducing the number of illegal immigrants in their county.
Now, with several trained officers, Bay county no longer has to wait for ICE to show up. They can determine if a person is illegal and deport them in a timely manner without the illegal immigrant skipping bail and stealing someone elses identity.
The Bay County Sheriff’s Office has a task force that responds to complaints about illegal aliens at construction sites and other areas. The deputies often find and arrest illegal aliens using someone else’s Social Security number. NW Florida Daily News
The question here is why is it that Bay county can get this done and Okaloosa can’t? Is it a lack of will on the part of Charlie Morris?
