Brown wins Massachusetts Senate seat. Now the coming Health Care Blitz by the Democrats.

Now that Republican Scott Brown has a clear victory in the Massachusetts Senate race, it will be interesting to see where the Democrats try to go with Health Care.

Constantly accusing Republicans of obstructionism, they will try to ram the Health Care reform bill through the process before Senator Brown(R) can be confirmed and seated in the Senate. This they have pretty much said they would try to do if Coakley failed in her election.

I guess the question here is would our Congressmen and Congresswomen of Florida go along with it. Will Senator Bill Nelson(D) and Congressman Alan Boyd(D) vote yes for it if it does get pushed through quickly? I suspect that the answer to that question will be yes. Even though there is heavy evidence that the constituents they represent are firmly apposed to the legislation.

While this is a major upset for Democrats, I wouldn’t get too excited quite yet. There are still lots of races to be won before Republicans can claim full victory once again.

Senator LeMieux has said it best.

“Scott Brown’s victory demonstrates the average American does not approve of the slew of big government solutions coming out of Washington.
This was a referendum on the national Democratic Party’s agenda. When voters voted for hope and change, they did not want a partisan, liberal agenda. They wanted a Washington where lawmakers and the president would work together for bipartisan solutions.
