Of course Government Jobs Pay more

I can understand some of the criticism of Government worker pay. It does look like they get paid quite a bit more than their private sector counterparts. And it is true. They do. Anyone can look at the pay scale and see that.
Why does a government broadcast technician make [...]

Didn’t President Obama propose to cut Spending?

I’m sure I heard President Obama mention that he was going to cut Spending. Could it have been the State of the Union address?
Now, he is going to do it again… No, not cut spending or propose to cut spending but actually increase spending in his new budget.
This guy is all over the [...]

Here is your Sign.

Imagine, if you will, that the Democrats actually believe in change for the good of everyone.
Our country continues to face the same fundamental challenges it faced yesterday. Our health care system still needs reform. Wall Street still needs to be held accountable. We still need to create good jobs. And we still need to continue [...]

Not much of a peep about Acorn from the NWF Daily News

The Acorn boondoggle has been going on for over a week now. Yet the NWF Daily news still has little to say about it in Section A.
This is not much of a surprise even though the Editor Pat Rice has claimed to be bipartisan. Many of the stories run in the [...]

Congressman Allen Boyd (D) to hold Townhall meetings on Healthcare during the Congressional Recess

Concern over the legislation H.R. 3200 is causing many Congressmen and Congresswomen to hold Townhall sessions to explain the legislation. Our Congressman Allen Boyd is no different in this.
Democrat Staff Writer Bill Cotterell over at the Florida Capital News reports on this as well.
Like many other members of Congress, U.S. Rep. Allen Boyd is [...]

Where’s the stimulus? Looks like pork to me.

I haven’t heard anything good about either version of the bill, American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 H.R. 1. Nothing suggests that this will actually do anything for those it is supposed to help.
There is lots of money for projects that would be best financed through the normal channels. But there doesn’t [...]
