I’m not a real big fan of the Census Bureau. Mostly because they want to count illegal aliens during the Census. But also because of things like this.

The Census needs a complete overhaul with a focus on legal immigrants an US Citizens. It is a insult that half of the questionnaire was geared towards the Hispanic population. What is so important that we single out a single race during the Census? Could it be votes? Could it be more Congressmen for their states and more money for their welfare programs that go towards illegal aliens?

The Census needs to be redone. Much of it could be streamlined to the point that we don’t need an army of workers working part-time and filling out full-time time cards. A National ID should be able to take care of most of it. People who worry about privacy usually have no idea that the privacy they have is only in regards to the US Government because of how the economy uses our information.

With a National ID, You could effectively count the legal citizens in each area with the click of a button and adjust every election if you wanted. Then the Census Bureau really wouldn’t be needed.
