Charlie Crist is showing his true colors as he continues to use more and more Democrat assets. With his switch to No-Party_affiliation(NPA) he has taken some of the votes that could have gone to Kendrick Meek. But he has lost most, if not all, of the Republican vote. In doing this switch he has also lost quite a bit of the Republican machine that helped keep him running and in cash.

What is surprising though, is the fact that he continues to embrace the left and moves more and more in that direction as the campaign wears on. His latest hop has him using the same Democrat supporting media firm that has helped the last four Democrat Presidential campaigns.

Crist announced Friday that Josh Isay, a former chief of staff to Sen. Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.), is now his lead media consultant.

After leaving Shumer’s staff, Isay co-founded the firm that is now called SKD Knickerbocker. It has helped elect dozens of Democrats and several high-profile independents li, including New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Connecticut Sen. Joseph Lieberman. SKD Knickerbocker has also worked on the campaigns of several Democratic presidential nominees and was one of the direct mail firms for President Barack Obama’s 2008 campaign. – CQ Politics

This can’t be good for Meek. And what does it say about the Democrats? While they supported Meek to begin with, are they taking a back door approach and supporting Crist as well in the off chance that he can beat Rubio?

As I have said before, Charlie Crist speaks as a Conservative, but his actions are continuously painting him as a closet Democrat.
