Concerned about Immigration?
With all the lime light being taken up by the Health Care debate, many have forgotten other issues that are just as important. One of those issues is Immigration.
While it is great to think that Immigration isn’t getting a free pass, it isn’t exactly being scrutinized all that hard as well. Even so there were a few bills that came up and were voted on that affect Immigration.
A website that is dedicated to tracking Immigration issues and where our Congressmen and Congresswomen stand is called Numbers USA. It is a great site to see how our local Congressional leaders have voted.
For example, since 2007, Congressman Jeff Miller(R) was given a 94% rating on voting on Immigration issues whereas Congressman Alan Boyd(D) received a 35% and Senator Bill Nelson(D) received 14%.
