Congress recently passed American Clean Energy and Security Act (H.R. 2454). The act includes provisions to “Cap-and-Trade” greenhouse gas emissions.

While this might sound great, it does cause some issues.

Cap and trade is really a vehicle for the government to raise additional revenues. Mostly at the expense of everyone in the country. Look at it as a hidden tax. One of those things that President Obama promised not to do. Tax those who make under $250k.

Thanks to the help of Congressman Boyd, you are going to share in the cap and trade industry by providing more money to the energy companies who have to offset their green house gas emissions by passing the buck to you.
