Here is a list of Republican Candidates who are attempting to run against Congressman Allen Boyd(D).

• Eddie Hendry
• Carl E. Meece
• Barbara F. Olschner
• Charles Ranson
• David Eugene Scholl
• Steve Southerland

None of them have qualified yet according to the Florida Division of Elections. Take a bit of time to go look at the ones with websites. The others probably won’t be making it through the primary. If you find one you like, sign their petition to qualify. Candidates need over 4600 signatures from people in District 2 to qualify.

This is just a first step towards sending Congressman Allen Boyd(D) into retirement.

UPDATE: These Candidates need to turn in the signatures by March 29th in order to qualify without paying $10k fee. If you haven’t already signed a petition from one of these Candidates, please do so today.

UPDATE: Looks like Steve Southerland has submitted nearly 6000 signatures. He should be good to go with the signatures. Not all verified yet. So we have at least one Republican running against Boyd.
