Don’t forget that Obama is Anti-Gun

An ad being run in Pennsylvania by the NRA is reminding voters of his Anti-Gun views.

I posted on Obama being Anti-Gun in April. Not long after his remarks about people being bitter.

So it’s not surprising then that they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.

Senator Obama sure knows how to endear himself to those of us who own guns.

He has tried to soothe our hurt feeling though. He has changed his mind maybe.

“Even if I want to take them away, I don’t have the votes in Congress,’’ he said. “This can’t be the reason not to vote for me.

Hmm… Maybe not. Just because he doesn’t have the votes? His record shows otherwise. He wants to limit guns. He says it often.

And don’t get the idea you can have a concealed gun to defend yourself either.

I am not in favor of concealed weapons, I think that creates a potential atmosphere where more innocent people could (get shot during) altercations.

His running mate seems to have the same problem. Senator Biden claims that Obama won’t take away his Beretta but that is one of the guns that Senator Biden has voted to ban himself.

Biden told the crowd that he himself is a gun owner. “I got two,” Biden said, “if he tries to fool with my Beretta, he’s got a problem. I like that little over and under, you know? I’m not bad with it. So give me a break. Give me a break.

Yet he consistently votes against the Second Amendment and guns.

If you are an avid hunter or just someone who wants to be able to defend themselves in the event of a home invasion, why on earth would you vote for the Democrat ticket?

I half expect that Obama will come out with a policy that will allow authorities to confiscate guns during this financial crisis. Just so someone who is bitter and clinging to their gun doesn’t do something silly and shoot someone innocent during an altercation.
