Early Voting for 2008 Begins today. UPDATED: Voting Hours Extended in Okaloosa UPDATED AGAIN: All Counties in the state Extend voting hours.

Early voting begins today. There are many places you can get out and vote. No excuses since you have plenty of time.

In Escambia County there are four early voting sites:

Early voting will be offered Monday, October 20th through Friday, October 24th from 8:30 a.m.
until 4:30 p.m.; Saturday, October 25th from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.; Sunday, October 26th
from 11:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.; and Monday, October 27th through Saturday, November 1st from
8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.. Early voters will cast paper ballots using our new optical scanners,
and may choose any one of the four sites.

In Santa Rosa County there are two locations:

Early Voting Begins: October 20 – November 1, Monday-Saturday, 8:30-4:30 p.m.

In Holmes County there is one Location:

Registered voters may vote early at the Elections Office during the two weeks prior to Election Day. Check with our office (850-547-1107) or website (under election calendar) for dates and times.


In Washington County there is one Location:

Early Voting for the General election begins October 20, 2008, at the Supervisor of Elections office located at 1331 South BLVD, Suite 900, Chipley, FL.

In Jackson County there is one Location:

Daily Monday thru Saturday 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Early voting for the general election begins Monday, October 20, 2008, and ends Saturday, November 1, 2008. Hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Saturday. The office is closed on Sunday.

In Liberty County there is one Location:

Early voting will be available for the General Election in our office located in the courthouse at 10818 NW SR 20.

Early voting hours will be: Monday through Saturday, October 20th-November 1st
8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Closed Sundays

In Gulf County there are two locations:

Elections Office,

In Franklin County there are two Locations:

GENERAL ELECTION – October 20, 2008 thru November 1, 2008

Early voting begins at 8:30 am and ends at 4:30 pm daily

Get out and vote. You can only be satisfied with the results if you vote.

UPDATE: Hours for Early voting in Okaloosa have been extended to 7pm.

UPDATE II: All Hours of Early voting in the state were extended to 7pm by executive order from Governor Chris.
