Employee Free Choice Act. Not really Free Choice.

The Employee Free Choice Act is very misleading. It isn’t about free choice it is all about Unions using union cards to unionize employees without a secret ballot vote. However if you want to deunionize then you would have to have a secret ballot vote.

Why is this a problem?

When a Union comes into a place of employment they hold meetings with the employees. The employees are often told that they need to sign union cards. Mostly so that information can be sent to them later on. What they don’t tell those employees is that those union cards are held by the Union indefinitely. They do not expire and they allow a union to represent the employee regardless what the employee wants.

Now the Unions want to use those cards to form unions by passing the Employee Free Choice Act. The cards could be several years old and people can change their mind. But if they filled out a card then they have effectively voted for a union. All it would take is fifty percent plus one employees signing cards to form this union.

Senator Orrin Hatch and Home Depot founder Bernie Marcus discussed EFCA on CNBC.

Another thing this Act would do is allow the Unions to set an employees wage. In other words, the employeer would have absolutely no power to pay what they want to pay or what the employee is worth. They would have to pay what the Union forced them to pay.

Talk about extortion.

Unions are nothing but legalized mob organizations.

Would Senator Obama approve of this? I bet he would. After all, the Unions overwhelmingly support Senator Obama for President.
