Former Okaloosa County Sheriff Charlie Morris Arrested.
I have never been a big fan of Former Okaloosa County Sheriff Charlie Morris. Today just goes to prove my dislike of him.

Sure, everyone is entitled to the “innocent until proven guilty” idea, but this just makes it much harder for me to believe that Charlie Morris wasn’t corrupt.
What exactly was he accused of?
Investigators said Morris and Adams “created fictitious bonuses to sheriff’s department employees,” according to a statement from the Department of Justice.
“The complaint alleges the employees were directed to return all or a portion of the bonuses in the form of cash and cashier’s checks under the pretense that these returned funds were to be used for charitable purposes.”
Sounds a bit like quid pro quo. Scratch my back, hand me some of this money I’m giving you and you can have a nice job or keep the one you got.
