Gasoline is the lowest in Destin
Gasoline has fallen to $1.42 per gallon in Destin over the weekend. That is nearly 20 cents less than some of the surrounding communities such as Niceville. You can fully expect it to continue falling as the price of oil plummets.
It does make you wonder a little bit about what caused the price of oil to skyrocket in the last year to begin with.
Speculators and Funds holding oil futures dumped the oil back onto the market as people pulled their money into safer accounts. The economy has fallen and demand for oil has gone down right along with it.
Oil will continue to fall until the economy recovers. And Gasoline will go down right along with it.

It won’t last though. This is not the time to cut back on our oil drilling and alternate energy development.
