Imagine, if you will, that the Democrats actually believe in change for the good of everyone.
Our country continues to face the same fundamental challenges it faced yesterday. Our health care system still needs reform. Wall Street still needs to be held accountable. We still need to create good jobs. And we still need to continue building a clean energy economy.
The President isn’t walking away from these challenges. In fact, his determination and resolve are only stronger. We must match that commitment with our own.
But it won’t be easy. Real change never is. For that reason, I am grateful you’re part of this fight with us.
Thank you,
Mitch

Health care needs reform, not complete government takeover. It is a great health care system as it is. People from all over the world want to have one just like ours and come to the States to take advantage of our Health Care system. Even illegal immigrants who drain billions of dollars that could have been spent on those who have paid for it with their taxes and live here legally.
Wall Street wouldn’t need to be held accountable if it weren’t for Congress and the President bailing out every business “Too Big to Fail”. The only place to lay the fault for Wall Street are the Democrats themselves. They are the ones who held Congress when the TARP boondoggle passed and tripled our budget deficit. The ones who really need to be held accountable in the Wall Street mess are those who voted for and continue to vote for “Fixing it”.
Creating jobs should have been the priority of the President to begin with. Not a year after and probably failing to get his “Health Care” jammed down the throats of those who do not want it. Of course Congress has been too busy with pleasing Obama that they can’t see the forest in spite of the trees. The budget deficit continues to grow, revenues continue to shrink and people continue to lose jobs. Unemployment hasn’t magically decreased in spite of Congress passing the “TARP” bill. Mostly because TARP did nothing but line the pockets of many of those Congressmen and Congresswomen who voted for it.
The Clean Energy act is a farce. Lets talk about job creation here. Punish those in business here in the states while giving those abroad even better pricing since they don’t have to comply with the Clean Air standards that their US counterparts and competitors have to submit to. Prices on energy will go up. It is all but proven. That increases the cost of goods manufactured and shipped. In the end, the consumer is the one who gets the shaft. Congressman Allen Boyd(D) likes to tout how much he is helping Florida Farmers with the “Yes” vote he gave on this bill. Great. A few farmers reap the benefits of everyone else paying for the clean energy.
The Clean Energy Act is nothing but another method of taxing businesses. In the guise of making our lives better by killing jobs, raising your taxes and increasing the amount of money you have to pay for everything. I am so glad they haven’t started taxing the air we breath yet. Don’t laugh. It could happen. Carbon Dioxide is a green house gas and is regulated now. If we could just get all of those liberals to stop breathing but once every 60 seconds or so.
You are right Mitch. Change isn’t easy. Maybe you should get used to it. Maybe more Republicans have seen the error of their ways and why they were kicked out of office. It is time to be sensible. Focus on things that actually matter to those whose lives are affected by the draconian measures that Congress frequently passes in the guise of Change because the plebes don’t know any better.
The Tea Party movement is a valid movement. Take note and wake up. Become Fiscally conservative or get voted out. Change can and will happen. Either be part of it or become it.
