Just last week Jim Greer was arrested and charged with Fraud with his role as Chairman of the Florida Republican National Committee. I questioned whether or not this might pull Charlie Crist into the fray because of his close relationship with Jim Greer. Namely, installing Greer as the Chairman of the Florida RNC.

Now we have Jim Greer’s lawyer implying that Charlie Crist knew exactly what was going on. Even though Charlie claims no knowledge of Greer’s activities.

Gov. Charlie Crist personally signed off on his former Republican party chairman’s confidential fundraising role with the state party — according to Jim Greer’s attorney, whose allegation contradicts the governor’s statement that he “didn’t know anything” about the deal now part of a criminal investigation. – Miami Hearld

Which means that one of them is definitely lying. Which one is going to be a big question that hangs over the campaign of Charlie Crist until the truth comes out.

It would not surprise me at the least that Charlie Crist did, indeed, know what Jim Greer was up to.

Take some time to read the article from the Miami Hearld. If Charlie is complicit in this, would it mean that he could be impeached before he has a chance to even get to the election? It is going to be an interesting ride for Charlie Crist. Maybe one that the Democrats might want to rethink.
