Ray Sansom resigns and State sets special election

Yes, after months of denial, Ray Sansom has resigned his seat on the Florida House. This was the right thing for him to do after his poor decision about accepting the a job at North West Florida State College. It should have been obvious months ago that he wasn’t able to do the job that people elected him to do.
Now the Secretary of State has set a date to temporarily fill his seat.
The primary election is scheduled for March 23. If the race is not decided in the primary, the general election would be April 13. – NWF Daily News
