Record Unemployment for Florida Later this Year

Under Governor Charlie Christ, Florida unemployment rates have continued to climb. Even with his embracing of President Obama, Charlie Christ still hasn’t been able to stop the tide of joblessness in the state of Florida. Later this year, Florida is set to break the all time high for unemployment at over 12 percent.

State economists now expect Florida’s unemployment rate to peak at 12.3 percent later this year β€” topping the modern record by nearly half a percentage point β€” and remain in double digits for another two years. – NWFlorida Daily News

Charlie Christ may be the centrist that he claims to be but his policies haven’t done much for the average Floridian.
