Redistribution of Wealth comment just a Fluke? Think again.

Senator Obama recently answered a question about his taxation policy that he wasn’t trying to punish wealthy people but he is just trying to “spead the wealth around”.

The Obama campaign quickly tried to mitigate the damage done with this statement. But the bad thing about this entire situation is that he really believes in this statement. He really does want to spread the wealth. He really wants to take more your money and give it to people who don’t work or pay taxes.

This is not the first time he has mentioned spreading the wealth around. He also mentioned it in an interview in 2001. Before he became a Senator.

This is supposed to help those who are in need.

I don’t have a problem helping those in need but when you want to take money away from the people who create jobs just so you can “spread the wealth” is just wrong. Many small businesses make more than $250K a year. And many of those small businesses use their earnings to create jobs for people.

If “spreading the wealth” actually worked then we would be much better off with the economic stimulus package that was passed this summer.

Of course, if the stimulus package worked like they had wanted it to then it would have worked much better than it did. Unfortunately, the stimulus package barely managed to move the economy.

“Spreading the wealth” is nothing but a plan to buy the vote. Robin Hood was very popular with the poor when he stole from the rich to give to the poor. Unfortunately for Senator Obama this is not a fairy tale.

Keep your wealth. Don’t let Senator Obama redistribute the wealth. Keep the American dream of owning your own successful business alive. Don’t vote for Obama.
