Governor Crist (R) continues to miss with his message against Mark Rubio (R). During the Fox news debate he repeatedly attempted to bring up what he felt was Mark Rubio’s dubious spending habits during the campaign while tip toeing around the issues that are important to Floridians.

Indeed, for all the discussion in Florida political circles in recent weeks about Rubio’s spending, the debate was far more centered on the sort of issues important to a national audience and especially Fox’s many Republican viewers.

The result was that Crist was put on the defensive more than Rubio. – Politico

Bringing up the Credit Card issue is a bit petty still. Charlie Crist has absolutely nothing substantial nor does he have a great message. Floridians still see Charlie Crist as embracing President Obama’s policies. Something we do not need at this point in time.

This debate can be counted on as a solid win for Mark Rubio.
