So much for Bipartisanship
In a discussion with the folks over at Politico, Senator John Kerry(D) made it quite clear that he doesn’t care if Republican leaders want to discuss the Stimulus bill the Senate intends on passing or not.
Sen. John Kerry says Democrats should ignore Republicans’ demands about the stimulus plan if they’re going to vote against it anyway.
Reacting to Wednesday night’s vote in the House  where not a single GOP member supported the stimulus package  Kerry told Politico that “if Republicans aren’t prepared to vote for it, I don’t think we should be giving up things, where I think the money can be spent more effectively.†– Politico
This is on the heels of the vote in the House where not a single Republican Voted for the Stimulus Bill they passed.
It has nothing to do with not wanting to vote on it. It has everything to do with the content of the Bill and the refusal of Democrats to negotiate.
Now that Robin Hood (President Obama) is in office. His merry men (Democrats) are handing out cash to everyone they think will help keep them in office.
So much for the Bipartisanship that President Obama claims he is bringing with his administration.
