Another program that Congressman Allen Boyd (D) is voting, The Cash for Clunkers program is likely to get a yes vote from Congressman Boyd.
There is no such thing as “Deficit Neutral” Congressman Boyd. If the Govenment spends money it must come from somewhere. Usually in raising someones taxes when you refuse to help cut spending.
Sad thing is, Congressman Boyd is proud enough of this stance to point out that he is voting to give away money just so you can pay for it later to put it on his website. And to top it all off, if you have a nice car now you probably won’t even qualify for the program.
At least it is better than wasting billions on nothing. Even though Congressman Boyd voted for that too.
