Of course this poll doesn’t really mean much since it was extremely limited in scope. But it could be a wake up call to Crist that he isn’t doing well in North West Florida.

He garnered 86 votes to Gov. Charlie Crist’s 4 votes during a straw poll today hosted by the Okaloosa Republican Exec Committee. – Tampa Bay

But, then again, Charlie Crist hasn’t really enjoyed much support here either. He tends to stay to places he finds safe. That is also where Mark Rubio will need to concentrate his efforts if he is to gain the party’s nomination.

Don’t get me wrong, I am extremely happy that Mark Rubio took the time to visit Okaloosa. Something we haven’t seen Charlie Crist do in quite some time. Maybe Charlie Crist is waiting for President Obama to show up.
