Veterans Day 2008

I would like to thank all of our current and former military members for volunteering to do what they do. If it were not for them, we might not have an internet. We might not have free speech. We might not have the freedom to choose for ourselves. We might not have had the historic vote we just witnessed.
If you know someone who has served or is serving in the military make sure you thank them for the freedoms they are protecting for you. The job they do isn’t easy and is sometimes very dangerous.
Take it from a Veteran, as a son of a Veteran and as a grandson of a Veteran, it is highly appreciated when someone says thank you. Especially to those currently in Uniform.
