I recently purchased a new Motorola Droid phone. It is a great step up from my old HTC 6800. There are quite a few applications that are very useful but I have found one that I really like when it comes to seeing how my Congressmen/women and Senators vote compared to me. That application is called Visible Vote.

The great thing about Visible Vote is that it allows you to vote on the same bills that those in Congress vote on. Afterwards it will let you know how your Representatives and Senators voted. It is an application for several different platforms to include the Android, Blackberry and Iphone platforms.

Visible Vote is the first and only application that allows you to cast a virtual vote on the same measures that your representatives vote on—and then informs them of your position. Visible Vote also monitors how often your Representatives vote in alignment with you and the people they represent.

Of course you can access it from your PC but I really like the Android application. It gives me something else to do with the phone when I am just sitting around instead of playing games. And it gives you a good idea on how well your Congressmen are working for you and how you would like them to vote.

I do not often recommend software or websites but this one is worth a download on your mobile phone.
