What are Charlie Crist’s standings on the Issues?
You would think that after being Governor for a few years Charlie Crist would have a stand on some issues.
After his critisizing of Mark Rubio on his term as Florida House Speaker and illegal Immigration, you would think that Charlie Crist would have at least this issue on his website.
But if you go to visit Charlie’s website to see where he stands on the Issue of Illegal Immigration, you will note that it is still kind of empty with the exception of a personal statement from Charlie Crist.
“Protecting Floridians has always been my top priority. From ensuring our safety to protecting our health, from lowering taxes and insurance rates to raising the bar in education, my common sense approach has delivered real results for the people of Florida. It’s a record I’m proud of, and it’s a record I’m ready to build on as your United States Senator.”
I could be reading it wrong but I don’t see anything about illegal immigration anywhere on that page or in his statement. Where does Charlie Crist stand on this issue?
Even as Governor, Charlie Crist was quite about this issue.
At least Mark Rubio has a statement. One that makes absolute sense.
Legal immigration has been a great source of strength and prosperity for America, but I believe illegal immigration threatens the foundation of this system. If I had been in the Senate at the time, I would have opposed the McCain-Kennedy bill. I believe we must fix our immigration system by first securing the border, fixing the visa and entry process and opposing amnesty in any reform. – Mark Rubio
Who would you want to go to the Senate to represent us? One who has a sensible view on illegal immigration or one who really doesn’t have a view yet(It is coming soon though)?
