Why does it take over two months to find emails?
In an effort to stall, the city of Valparaiso had an extension to an order to hand over emails related to it’s lawsuit against the F-35. Saying it was impossible to hand them over in the short period of time they had since the request in April.

How hard is it to search a bunch of text for a few words?
He reduced the scope of the public records request to include all e-mails from the past three years rather than five years and to search only for the terms “F-35,” “Joint Strike Fighter” and “jet noise.”
Anyone familiar with Outlook can do a rudimentary search for these terms and come up with something in less than 5 minutes. Apparently the city of Valparaiso is using the funds it has for this lawsuit instead of a good IT person. And there is probably only one account that needs to be searched. The Mayors.
